Sick of Hype It's getting pretty ridiculous that the media hype for the "troika" at the top is ruining the chance for the rest of the field to be heard. Senator Clinton did her usual hectoring and not answering the questions, Edwards repeated his "growing up in poverty litany and Obama only reinforced the lack of experience issue. Don't get me wrong. I think Obama will be President at some point just not starting January 20, 2009.
The clearest and most rational thinker yesterday was Joe Biden. Most of us would like to get out of Iraq and the sooner the better. Senator Biden reminded us of our responsibility in the region and our moral obligation to ensure that we are not in this quagmire for generations to come.
I'm looking at Senator Biden again, ignoring the media hype, and would urge all of you to do the same. We need more than fluff and media stardom. We need experience and clear thinking.

Biden I can't figure out why Biden hasn't gotten more traction. He's a great candidate---experienced, good stance on the war, strong speaker, sense of humor, very frank. Seems to be a sharp guy with a lot of integrity. Why is he getting overlooked? Has he spent a lot of time in Iowa? Does he have a strong organization here?

Obama rocked Agree that Obama looks and sounds the most presidential. He seems more relaxed and in his element. Hillary hardly answered the question -- did she really answer one at all? Biden might make a good SecDef or SecState. I hope Iowa votes for Barack and keeps the contest alive so the rest of the country gets a chance to weigh in. I'd hate for this contest to end too early.

Barack Obama: a man ahead of "his time." Barack Obama has been the Senator from Illinois for less than 2 years. He argues that judgment should count more than experience. What sort of judgment would the American people be showing if they elected a man with less than 2 years' experience in national politics to be the leader of the free world?
