The funniest part of the above speech is when Romney says, "I'm going to find you, track you down, make sure you vote in the caucuses." Yikes! Is scaring your supporters into caucusing really the best strategy? I suppose we'll find out on January 3.
And the not so funny thing is that is literally what will happen. Thank God, since that's what this all about, no wait, that's Huckabee's line, that the ballots are cast somewhat in secret. Unless team Romney has figured out how to get their supporters to dutifully show the paid Romney "super volunteers" their ballot BEFORE it goes into the box.
The status quo candidates in both parties are doing the only thing they can do: woo the people with the same type of empty promises that their neither intend to keep or can realistically keep. They offer no real solutions to the problems faced by this country, many of those problems have been caused by the very type politics that they are on the stage promoting now.
So, if Ron Paul is not elected, if drastic changes are not made we will continue to face the same issues, the same problems and even worse ones as the monetary system this government and their buddies at the Fed continues its march toward economic disaster.
Just listen to Bernanke, get this, will ya: "The U.S. government has a technology, called a printing press (or, today, its electronic equivalent), that allows it to produce as many U.S. dollars as it wishes at essentially no cost. By increasing the number of U.S. dollars in circulation, or even by credibly threatening to do so, the U.S. government can also reduce the value of a dollar in terms of goods and services, which is equivalent to raising the prices in dollars of those goods and services. We conclude that, under a paper-money system, a determined government can always generate higher spending and hence positive inflation."
Now this entire system is built upon debt and the circulation of every single dollar, whether digital or physical, is not created until it is borrowed into existence, imagine that for a minute. Since it is not backed by anything but the creation of debt that means that the debt can never be paid off or reduced since it would be a contraction of the economy. The problem with the entire fiat monetary system is that it will reach a point of mathematical termination due to the weight of the ever-increasing and irreversible multiplication of the debt that creates it, soon, and very soon, the debt will begin to require more servicing than the economy can produce and still remain viable.
Think about it, everything we now know that makes up our economy and indeed, our society, is built upon a system that has an inherent terminal point. All your investments, your retirement, pensions, 401k, savings and all the government programs, everything is completely dependent upon a system that, as all fiat systems in history has proven, will collapse.
RON PAUL IS THE ONLY CANDIDATE THAT UNDERSTANDS WHAT THIS COUNTRY IS ACTUALLY FACING AND HAS A PLAN TO AVERT A TIME THAT NO ONE IN THIS COUNTRY WANTS TO FACE. The other candidates can spew out their empty and unfulfillable promoses all they want, but if Ron Paul is not elected in 2008 by 2012 we will all wish he had been!!!!
He has a strong core support group and they will get others out to caucus with them. This group will not care what the weather is like or who is playing football. They care about their country and the elitist sellout of the working class.
One of the interesting things about Rep Tancredo's supporters is that a great number do not fit the profile of those who are traditionally involved in politics. But don't underestimate them in the face of crisis just because they do not turn up in the typical MSM polls, have $2300 a piece to donate and are not organized by corporate and special interest groups. They recognize there is a crisis in this nation and that their hand raised after taking a step forward counts just as much on Caucus night as the representatives of anti-American socialists, Pacifist bed wetters, illegal alien employers and ethnic lobbying bigots.
As voters come down to the wire they are going to keep coming back to the fact that Rep Tancredo has the most dependable conservative record in the field. Also, his anti-political correct ads will allow people in the end to say "I can support that guy because he has the guts to say what I would and I know he has America & American Citizens first in his heart".
Besides Iowa loves well meaning underdogs and Rep Tancredo fits that profile to the max.

If the GOP wants someone who can beat Hillary Clinton or the Obama/Oprah machines, Dr. Paul would be the wise choice. As an airman serving in the United States Air Force, I am particularly interested in Dr. Paul's foreign policy of peace and prosperity abroad. It would be nice to travel to a foreign land and not be looked upon as an imperialist pig, and instead be welcomed.
I want to thank Dr. Paul for finally offering integrity in the field of candidates, and thank the Iowa Independent for this good news!

Just add some more digits to the already trillions of outstanding...What comes after a trillion...were getting close....Ron Paul is the only candidate talking about this. Yes there is a Ft. Knox...but no one knows if there is any gold there anymore....It hasn't been audited since it was conficated from the People many years ago..
Our unsecured borders and our unenforced immigration laws have allowed nearly 600,000 ILLEGAL immigrants to live in AZ. Nearly ONE THIRD of AZ households headed by illegal immigrants receive government WELFARE assistance! 69% of illegal immigrants in AZ do NOT have health insurance, so you can guess whose healthcare premium rates increase!!!!! Our schools educate 225,000 non-English speaking students - all at the TAXPAYERS' expense - over TWO BILLION dollars each year!
Does our country really need to import more poverty and do we really want to burden our systems with millions (more) of uneducated individuals? After all, 46% of adult immigrants in Arizona have LESS than a high-school degree!
Our corporations and businesses would rather hire cheap citizens from other countries than adequtely pay American citizens and because of that, our federal, state and local government has allowed and encouraged an invasion of twenty to thirty MILLION non-citizens!
If the United States is to remain a sovereign country, where American workers can indeed hold good-paying jobs, receive top of the line education and afford healthcare, we MUST demand that the next President is a person who stands firm on his convictions and principles, a person who promises to secure our borders and retain our sovereignty, a person who is NOT bought and paid for by the corporate world. TOM TANCREDO is that candidate. He has fought illegal immigration for NINE years - not nine weeks like the other candidates! Tancredo for a Secure America and for Americans!
We are in danger of losing the sovereignty of our precious Republic to the comrades in arms; The Council on Foreign Relations, the Trilateral Commission and the Bilderberg Group. All of the Democrats except Dennis Kucinich and top 5 Republicans have close associations with those groups. They support not just a one world economy, but a one world government to oversee it.
Of those who are not associated with those groups, Tom Tancredo is the only candidate I trust to protect that sovereignty. He is far from the One Trick Pony the main stream media has made him out to be. Be aware that the main stream media is owned by members of the above named groups. Tom is a threat to their plans to form a North American Union in the first year of the next administration; "by the year 2010"
A vote for anyone else from either party is a vote to shred our Constitution and Bill of Rights, throw Old Glory in the trash and trade our dollars for ameros. Look it up and believe it.
Tancredo recognizes that our country must be secured! Our security is his prime concern and he will do the above.
Maslov's hierarcy of needs tells us that the our most important basic need is safety and security. After that comes food, shelter etc. The other candidates focus on education, health care, taxes, energy, environment... Unless we have security, the others really don't matter.
Tancredo alone recognizes the danger we face from open borders and from radical islam. Other candidates give little importance to these issues.
Tancredo opposes NAFTA, SPP, NAFTA superhighway and the NAU which would destroy our sovereignty. He is not on the CFR which appears to be propelling us towards global governance.
WAKE UP, IOWA. Promote TANCREDO!!
Tom Tancredo believes in the Constitution of the United States of America. He wants parents to be able to choose where their children go to school. He wants people to be able to pay lower medical costs and be able to go to the doctors that they so choose. He wants countries to abide by a FAIR trade policy. He wants people to come here LEGALLY and not Illegally. He wants America to thrive and not continue to the bottom of the toilet. Because, that's exactly where it's headed if we elect any other candidate than Tom Tancredo.

In my opinion, the Rudy campaign is the worst managed campaign I've ever seen. They have this massive war chest, yet spend almost nothing on advertising. They racked up some nice endorsements, but got nowhere with them. They got caught completely with their pants down on Kerik and the NYPD/Judith Nathan scandal. Plus, they let all of his speeches become nothing more than, as Joe Biden said, a noun a verb and 9/11.
They should have capitalized on Huckabee's rise to split the social conservatives between Huck and Romney, leaving the path wide open for him to march to the nomination with the blessing of the security/business conservatives.
Seriously...by rights he should have been able to use his 9/11 cred to pull an Eisenhower like cakewalk to the convention. His failure to do so is the story of this election so far.
He did not enter this campaign for ego or power. He entered this campaign because none of the other candidates were addressing the issue that is most important to the American People, and for nearly 7 months he was the only candidate talking about it. Now all of them are trying to out Tancredo Tancredo. I do not believe them for a skinny minute and I would advise everyone to look up the previous positions of the other candidates before you believe them.
If you want your country back, your only choice in the caucuses and primary elections is Tom Tancredo. He will do more for America between the Inauguration Ceremony and the Inaugural Ball than the previous 3 presidents have done in the previous 20 years.
Tom is an unwavering candidate on every issue and has a track record with his former positions with the Department of Education, with his experience in his home state as well as in the U.S. House that says exactly that--unwavering.
Tom will not let this country down. He is honest, forthright and willing to fight for what is guaranteed in the Constitution, and he wants to enforce the laws of the Land.
It is suggested that Mike Huckabee's "theological" degree be carefully scrutinized. He is not to be trusted.
