Obama shifts to the problems of inequality in the funding of public school systems. This has been a major issue for a long time as Jonathan Kozol points out in "Savage Inequalities." The public-funding of schools has been dsicriminatory for decades and I'm amazed the ACLU hasn't challenged this systematically, state by state, and district by district.

I'm afraid of the answer, something to do with upper-class protectionism?

NCLB is so important for me personally My oldest daughter was in gifted and talented programs before NCLB... now the school district doesn't offer them. They are way too busy teaching the tests.

My youngest son who has a learning disability is also being short-changed. Because the school must focus so intently on the test, he cannot move forward with his IEP and tackle the things he needs to focus on most.

What a fluff question Really - this question is bunk. We have declining public schools; NCLB is up for reauthorization; and higher education costs are spiraling out of control and the best America can do is "who was your favorite teacher?"

At least Edwards got to plug the mill, eh?

Biden clarifies his reason for voting for the military funding bill regarding the MRAP vehicles, which have gone into mass production. This has appealed to a number of young Iraq veterans, who think in real time, meaning what can be done to protect them in the next 5 minutes verses the political time in D.C.

Hillary keeps trying to blame everything on Bush administration Notice how she always goes back to Bush and the Pentagon about Iraq. I think people are ready to move beyond that. She's missing some opportunities, we are expecting more from the Democrats in Congress than saying it's the Republicans' fault.

Women and the Selective Service Dodd -- yes. Don't just ask one gender. He now pushes his national service campaign. I think that's one of his strongest areas.

Clinton -- yes. Like Dodd, does not want a draft -- which leads me to ask both of them why we don't just kill off Selective Service?

Obama -- Yes, but not combat and does not want the draft

Edwards -- Doesn't answer the question, but says he believes women can serve honorably

Do you think this is why Edwards and Clinton want the others out? Kucinich just spanked them both -- and the Democratic leadership in Congress -- with his Iraq answer.

You know, that little tete-a-tete between he and Clinton was made even more crappy when you consider what Kucinich did for him in Iowa in 2004.
